Packet pickup is at Moss Bay Hall in downtown Kirkland at 111 Central Way, Kirkland, WA 98033  November 16th from 10am- 5pm. Swing in, have a beer and grab your packet!

Moss Bay Hall 111 Central Way, Kirkland WA 98033 –Nov 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM (preferred) or race day at the Cascade Stride tent.

The event starts and finishes at Marina Park at 25 Lake Shore Plaza, in downtown Kirkland.

The Turkey Trot  will begin at 9:00 am. The Kids Run will start at 10:00 and will contained be within Marina Park

Because of the large size of the event, there is no available parking at Marina Park. However, there is plenty of parking at Heritage Park, City Hall and the Peter Kirk/library parking garage as well as on the city streets throughout downtown Kirkland. Please see our parking page for ideas.

Pets are not allowed on course because of insurance reasons. Thank you for your understanding. As for strollers, yes! Please be aware of your fellow participants if they need to pass or you are passing them–always allow for enough space for you and the stroller.

Cash, check or credit cards will be accepted onsite at the day-of-event. Discount codes will only be valid during online registration.

Yes. It will be located in the a large box truck in the park. You must provide your own bag. You can either put a tag on your bag prior to arrival with your bib number on it or we will provide you with a tag and pen at Gear Check to do so.

Yes. The event will rent port-a-loos that will be onsite near the start and finish line. 

All bib numbers must be worn on the front of your body. Safety pins will be available at packet pickup as well as near the day-of-race registration and packet pickup area.

Yes, we will have a medical tent near the finish line.

Due to the length of the race and to minimize our impact, water will be available at the start/finish line. If you bring your own bottle you are welcome to fill it prior to the race.

Yes! We love walkers! Note the we have to close the course at 10:30 am per our permit with the city. This will give you an hour and a half to complete the 3 mile course. 

The awards ceremony will take at Moss Hall at 10:45 am. The top 3 male and female finishers will be presented their awards. We will also announce the first place finisher for each age group category. Join at the Hall for food and refreshaments after the run!

The road will be closed for the first part of the race. Once we have some space runners,  will be moved to the bike and parking lanes of the road and separated from traffiic by cones.  We have worked with the city to minimize traffic on the course..  Police officers will manage traffic at all stop lights and volunteer will be at each intersection. Note the Kids Race is entirely within Marina Park, so there will not be any traffic concerns.

We take runner safety serious and in the event of a weather or othe events, the City of Kirkland police will review the course routes on the morning of the event (or earlier) and decide on if the event should take place or not. If it is cancelled, we will (1) post an update on the www.12ksofchristmas.com site and on the 12K’s of Christmas facebook page. kids running kirkland turkey trot 5kThe Kids Run is .3 miles and is contained within the Marina Park in Kirkland. The run starts at 10:00 with volunteers helping the kids run along the path and through the finishing arch. Appropriate for kids 2-8. If the kids are older they can easily run a very flat 5K (3.1 miles) and register as a student for a reduced fee.

Registration for the kids run includes a medal and a small treat. Parents are welcome to run with their child without registering for the race.

Refund and Transfer Policy

Unable to Race
If you cannot participate in this year’s race for whatever reason, we can offer you a 50% coupon code for next year’s race.  Requests for the 50% discout code must be made one week (7 days) prior to the race date. You are not obligated in any way to use the coupon code, but to obtain it, the request must be made in time. Please e-mail info@snohomishrunning.com for your code. There are no cash refunds

Transferring Your Bib
Transferring your entry to another person (i.e. a bib swap) is not available. Please e-mail ron@cascadestride.com with further questions.

Wait List

If the race sells out, a limited wait list will be made available.

Cancelled Race
In the event of extreme weather, acts of terrorism, acts of God, governmental ban or other factors outside the control of the race management, the race management reserves the right to cancel the race at any moment leading up to the race, including during the race. All decisions will be made in concert with local officials, and will be based on safety first and foremost.

Courses and/or race segments will be altered as agreed to between the management and local officials.  Since the majority of event costs (entry forms, advertising, etc.) occur prior to the race, entry fees will not be refunded.
